Cat Breed Standards

Cat Breed Standards

Brought to you by The Cat Buyer Guide

This is where you can find what a cat or kitten you are considering purchasing is supposed to look like according to the breed standard. As a buyer this is where you can make sure you are buying a quality cat. As a buyer do understand that if you find a cat that meets the standard in every way, you then would have the perfect show cat and would be very lucky indeed to have a chance to purchase it. Reputable breeders are working to improve their breeds and produce cats that meet the breed standard, they sell the kittens that dont measure up to their standard of perfection as a pet quality kitten. Show quality kittens should meet the standard in as many ways as possible, but will most likely never be the perfect example, as those are very rare cats and what we all try to find. Be willing to pay for quality for in a cat breed, you do get what you pay for.
