Information, not veterinary advice
Our guides explain what veterinary and official sources say and what our own research found. They are general information and are not a substitute for advice from a veterinarian who knows your cat. If you’re worried about a cat’s health, call your vet, or an emergency animal hospital if it’s urgent.
Prices, products and laws change
Prices, product details, fees, rules and laws change. Every guide shows the date its facts were last checked, and we re-check them regularly, but we can’t promise that everything is current when you read it. Check the seller’s, clinic’s or agency’s own page before you rely on a number or a rule.
No hands-on product testing
Our buyer’s guides are built from manufacturers’ specifications, warranties and return policies, and from veterinary guidance. They are not hands-on tests, and we say so on each one. Choosing a product, a breeder or a pet is your decision.
